Directions

The Coastal Georgia Center has expanded its parking lot to accommodate many more cars. The parking lot is on the west side of the building and is somewhat on two levels which flow into each other. There are three ways to access the lot - please see the map below.
  1. Turn off of M.L. King Jr. Boulevard into the Savannah Visitors' Center parking. Go straight to the back of the lot. The Coastal Georgia Center is on your left. Proceed past the Coastal Georgia Center to its parking lot on the west side of the building.
  2. Continue on M.L. King Jr. Boulevard straight past the Visitors' Center. Turn LEFT at the traffic light at Oglethorpe Street. Turn LEFT at the traffic light at Fahm Street. Drive straight 2 blocks until the road dead ends at the Coastal Georgia Center. Parking will be to the right.
  3. Access the lot from West Boundary Street.

Notice Regarding Parking in the Savannah Visitors' Center Parking Lot This is to notify those of you who park on the east side of the Coastal Georgia Center, in the Savannah Visitors' Center parking lot, that the City of Savannah implemented the following new parking policy for that lot: If you park in the Visitors' Center parking lot prior to the time the parking attendant leaves (about 6:15 pm) AND you have to pull a ticket to park, then you may receive a parking ticket. There is, however, one hour of free parking, so the ticket would be subject to dismissal if you park for just one hour. This policy really should not affect us, however. Savannah Parking Services has said that if you park in the Visitors' Center parking lot after about 6:15 pm, when the parking attendant leaves, there is no problem and you will not receive a parking ticket.
